At the beginning of this program we learned: “People have many reasons for rejecting the Christian faith. Some may admire Christ but dislike His followers. Others find it difficult to accept any faith that claims to be the only way to God. Why would anyone limit themselves to only one of the world’s great religions?” How valid are each of these objections? What is your response to each?

I believe that the objections are not valid. I can sympathize with admiring Christ but not liking His followers. One important thing to keep in mind with that objection is that people are fallen. We should look at Jesus and His example of how to live and not a people and their actions.
People don’t like to accept only one faith claims to be the way God, because if it is true they have to be accountable to someone outside of themselves to receive said access.
One would limit themselves to only one of the world’s religions because there can only be one religion that is objectively true. Once all possible evidence is reviewed from Christian and secular sources there is only one conclusion that makes sense.

At this time many limit themselves from the greatest religion and the only way to salvation because they believe that Christianity is to strict and the ways of God has too many rules. They want to do what the world say is ok not what God says is ok. People want to live in a way that benefits them when they should be living for God. My respose to this is that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Good works and deeds or being a good person does not get you into heaven. Living the way we want and not following God is a one way ticket away from Him. We are to live in a way to show the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

I can see why people might dislike his followers. We live for ourselves and not live like Christ. Good himself says He is there only way.

For people who ask “Why?”, my response is “Why not?” Truly in following Christ is there is so much more to gain.

People have reasons for rejecting the Christian faith because they have free will. I believe that as Christians we need to talk with others who do not share our same beliefs. We should have a respectful conversation with those people, and explain and point out reasons why their is only one God.
