Before this lesson, how would you have described what a good leader does? How would you describe what a good leader does now?

Before: a good leader is someone that is passionate and motivates others to move to go above themselves and get to places they couldn’t have got too without the leader.
After: I would add that a leader doesn’t let those they are leading to stay stagnant…they get them to a different and better place/position/idea/accomplishment.

Before this lesson, I believe that a leader held a position by title. Now, I believe that a leader can emerge in different ways. A leader can lead by example.

I would say they are an example. They have wisdom and knowledge. but what I really got out of it was that a leader doesn’t just sit in an office but is a verb and needs action.

Before this lesson, I would have said leadership is influence. That’s borrowed from John Maxwell. My consternation is more over the word “good.” I believe the essence of what we do should be more aligned with what God says is good before we label things “good.” Effective and good are separate things to me. I can effectively lead you to do things that are not good.
