I always have felt a good leader was someone who helped others reach a desired goal. I would still describe a good leader that way.

A good leader leads by example and helps others grow. This session helped me recognize that a good leader grows with the person that they are leading.

A good leader guides, directs, manages through accountability, encouragement and challenging taking a person from where they are to a better place.

Before I would said leaders help get the best out of people. Now I would say that leaders take others to where they are not.
