Before this lesson, how would you have described what a good leader does? How would you describe what a good leader does now?

I would have said a leader has good management skills who also lead by example. I now include that goal setting and delegating to reach new heights and accomplishments are also necessary.

A good leader gets in the trenches with those that he or she leads and demonstrates initiative to do the work that others are often unwilling to do.

A good leader empowers his/her followers. A good leader listens to the followers and makes informed decisions. After listening, I would add a good leader takes you somewhere. Takes you to the next level, takes you on a journey of a better way.

My husband is a really good leader so I would’ve described him. He serves well and is always able to cast a vision to his team of where they are going.

I would have said a good leader humbly, compassionately, and effectively takes care of people under him or her. I would say all those things will adding he/she serves, and takes people from where they are not to where they need to be/are going.
