Can you see Dr. MacCullough’s guiding questions being valuable to you in creating biblically integrated units/lessons? How do you envision implementing them in your planning process?
Yes, I believe guiding questions are very valuable. As I’m going through my curriculum maps this year, I’m adding these questions that leads to excellent discussions in my course. I will continue to do this and modify as I go along.
Yes, I do see Dr. MacCullough’s guiding questions being valuable in creating biblically integrated units. As I plan my units I will carefully look at my lessons and try to see where some of her questions might fit in my lesson plan.
The guiding questions help give focus to the planning process. Using specific questions allows educators to think logically and creatively about how they approach the development and implementation of lesson plans.
I do think the guiding questions can keep our motivations set correctly on the right goal, honoring God in all we do and making him the center of our work and learning.
