Yes, on an application it asked for testimony. When actually writing this down in words, which I had not done before, I was able to see more times in my life that God was present and saw me through tests and trials that I was not aware of. It opened my eyes more to His ever presence in my life. I came to realize He is faithful, His promises are true and He is the ALL healing GOD! It also helped me be able to talk to others more openly.

It was about 4 days ago. I was at work, and a coworker and I had a discussion about the bible. My coworker made a statement that God and Jesus were not one, and that Jesus is from earth. He basically was saying that Jesus is more human than spiritual (this is what I took his statement for). I told him that God and Jesus are one. (John 10:30; 14:7). He still didn’t want to hear the truth. He continued talking foolish talk. When people talk foolishly I walk away from the conversation. Proverbs 26; tells us not to answer/entertain a fool. A few days later my coworker called me to apologize. He said I was right, no the truth is right.

During a discussion with a fellow believer of Christ, I defended the idea of being more connected to God in a quiet environment while doing Bible study. I cited the example of Elijah in 1 Kings 19:8-19, who retreated to a quiet place when feeling depressed and ready to give up. He returned refreshed and hopeful because he heard the “low whisper” of God’s voice, which was not audible on a noisy street. The person I was speaking with had a different perspective, suggesting that finding a quieter time and place, such as by peaceful waves or in a spot with no people or noise, can also be a way to connect with God. It’s interesting how we all have our own unique ways of connecting with God, and creating a quiet space for personal connection is definitely important.

Yes, my son has been listening to several podcasts. One refuted many of the OT stories with strange “facts.” He wanted to argue with me. I refused and repeated why I believed what I believed.
