Often in my position I am called to defend my belief. sadly, often it with other Christians. I took a stand against one of the leading Christian groups in my hometown because they were not doing things Godly or the way God instructs. The groups leader did not take my stance well so it was my job to defend my Chrisitan stance. Although we did not come to a united understanding the apologia was received.

A few years ago, when some Jehovah’s Witnesses were trying to get me to join their church and read their bible. They said King James Version wasn’t accurate and a lot of other stuff like there is no hell.

I wish I could answer this question. No one has ever asked me about defending my faith in Jesus Christ. I know there will be a time when that will happen. That is the reason why I am taking this basic series of the course. I am learning and going to church regularly, meeting once a week in group studies, Men’s Saturday breakfast with more in-depth learning, meeting with others in our congregation, listening to praise music, how the sermons are presented, reading portions of the Bible and doing devotions, learning about prayer and how significant it is. It all plays a role in my understanding and deepening in my Christian faith. It is not an easy road to take. There is much learning and being human, I make mistakes. The most important thing for me, taking this course, is so I can feel comfortable in describing who I am as a Christian. I would like to be honest and if someone asked me why I believe in the way I do, I would say this is what Jesus in doing in my life. That is as honest as I can be at this time.

When speaking with others, claiming to be Christians as well, but with different theologies and ideologies that aren’t biblical.
