As a Pastoral Carer/Chaplain I am always asked to explain/defend my faith I have to admit that sometimes this can be difficult depending on the situation. My prayer is that this course will help me over come these difficulties.

I think one of my first times was in college. I was sharing about my faith and a student that was in another religion said, “You are a Christian because that what you were taught to be, I’m a … because that what I was taught to be. At that point, I felt she was right. Everything I stood on was what I had heard from the congregation that I was raised in and I didn’t question it or study for myself. I just trusted it.
Now as I work with college students, many of who do not believe in Jesus, God or religion, I find more opportunities to share my faith. -
The questions of “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people and Does God really want you to wait until heaven to enjoy your life” are popular questions. I find myself in a debate that I have trouble trying to defend. I agree with Dr. Frees, “This is not to say that one can argue another person into salvation. According to Ephesians 2:8-9, salvation is only through faith because of God’s grace.”

One of my friends named Teresa told me I always go to church every Sunday. She does not go to church. I told her, “I love Jesus”.
