Can you think of a time when you were called upon to give a defense of your faith in Christ? If so, briefly explain.

I work with a group of pre-teens at our church and these are the type of questions I often get as it’s something they are confronted with daily. So they will ask me all the questions that they get bombarded with, seeking answers which they can use in their “defense”.

Recently, my Dad, 89 years of age, came into the end of life chapter of his life on this earth. One of the things he truly wanted, was for me to cut his hair. During this pandemic, he has not been able to get his hair cut, and this bothered him greatly. I am not a person trained to cut hair, especially men’s hair, but this really seemed important to my Dad, so one day, after much thinking, I decided, I could cut his hair. I asked Jesus to help me cut his hair. I prepared my Dad, by tenderly washing his head, face, neck, and around and in his ears. I then started to methodically trim his hair, putting all the hair aside, on the counter.
What I was truly doing was getting him ready to go. It was absolutely the most tender, beautiful and kindness gesture I ever did for my Dad. He looked so handsome when I was finished. And he was very grateful, and when he went back to sit on his easy chair, my Dad was at peace. The next couple weeks were very very hard, as his health took a big dive, but never once did he look unfurled. His hair was always combed, as he had somewhere he was going, and he was just finishing up. We were together to the very end, where he left his body, in absolute peace. My defense for my faith, was in my deeds to my Father, my testimony was alive, in my care for my Dad. My faith was alive in my Dads faith, as we journeyed through the valley of the shadow of death, together, with Jesus Christ. -
Throughout my faith journey, I have had many opportunities to apologise for Christ. Especially when it comes to evangelizing to neighbors, many people have requested this apologetics. But I have never clearly made an apologetic for Christ. Through these learnings, I hope that you will be able to boldly defend your apologetics for Christ!

This incident happened in my college days, that my friends were harassing my daily meditation and still I continue daily meditation. I told about my faith in Christ by talking and explaining Jesus Christ as our Savior and and my hope to receive eternal life.

I was challenged by someone that aid that the bible is infused with pagan beliefs and rituals through translation. I defended Jesus Christ not just from what is written in the bible, but from tangible evidence that he has changed my life.
