Again, the second lesson on not being a leader who isn’t irrelevant will help me with knowing and continuing to study the Scriptures on different leaders will help me come along side my sisters in my core group in their various family dynamics and apply the biblical principles to our situations. For example in the midst of some of us being married to unbelievers, continue to pray for the salvation of , and submit to our spouses, to defer to them and be patient allowing the Lord to work on us, rather than trying to do the Holy Spirits work of changing them. This is challenging, yet the Lord has been so faithful, and we are learning to be content where we are, growing in Christ until he sees fit to change our spouses heart.

You can be a leader and be irrelevant. As leaders, we have to lead from a place of purpose and being. Leaders are often thought of as being in front when in fact we are behind and surrounding those who we are leading. If we are not leading with a heart of God the passion will not convey to those who we are called to, so the impact won’t be as great.

God puts people in position of leadership. It is important to put your position of leadership in front of God, in order to make sure you are fulfilling what God wants you to do with that position. If we place it in front of ourselves we can use that position of leadership to glorify ourselves instead of God and encouraging other people.

    My example I choose Saul,
People pleasing won’t get you no where. You have to go with what God has called you to do even if people disagree with you. As long as it is based on the word of God they should have no problem with it. Sometimes they try to talk you into it and it might sound good, but it is better to listen to God than man.

When you have God’s heart you can achieve amazing things. David’s leadership in inspiring. Even though he made mistakes, his heart for God was evident. A challenge to lead with His heart can make a difference. Seeing our world today and standing with the truth of God’s word, but having His heart for people can make a difference. This may mean taking a difficult stand or confronting a difficult situation, but with God’s heart the outcome has the potential to make a difference for the good.
