I have a student who appears to be in constant conflict with the world, often expressing it by deliberately refusing to follow instructions. I am patiently waiting for a positive change in his behavior. In the meantime, I make a point to verbalize my love for him and remind him that God loves him deeply.

I have a high school student with behavioral issues, which has also affected his academic performance. I am yet to witness a significant change, but I am trusting God for a major transformation to occur.
I also have an elementary student with behavioral issues. I have noticed that the young boy never admits his wrongs, acts meanly towards his classmates, and indifferent towards studies at times. I am still waiting for a change to occur in his life, that he experiences the love of Christ and changed heart.

I have a Muslim student who is from the Middle East and because of the recent bombing of Lebanon (his country) by Israel. The situation seems to have impacted his openness to Biblical principles, and I’ve noticed a significant change in his receptiveness. I am praying for him and trusting the Holy Spirit to do the conviction in his life.

I teach kindergartners and they usually leave kindergarten excited about the scriptures and lessons from it; particularly the creation story and the fruit of the spirit reading. Many times, they outgrow this excitement once they get to grade-level school and become busy with their academic pursuits. I keep praying for them, believing that the sown seed will germinate soon.

There have been a few students who were very outspoken at first about not believing in God or the Bible, but after some time, years even, they came around to believing, asking questions, and praying out loud in class. Don’t give up on someone just because they lack faith. We all could use more faith at times.
