Plagiarism is dealt with seriously. It seems to always take a while for them to see that it is a sin of stealing.

Once student broken a school rule, they are to sit during their recess where they are given a set of questions and a Bible verse to remind them the importance of the rule. They are then asked to write a reflection of why they should not repeat the same mistake again in the future.

One is to address the negative behaviors, but then to have restorative discipline that gives us time to encourage and give scripture on why rules are important. The other is to give praises to the positive behaviors. Encouragement also helps our walk with God.

In the high school setting, keeping track of the students is challenging. “Where are you going?’, is probably the most asked question. But, we have been put in authority over our students and it is important to know where our students are. I think of God going after the sheep. Teachers, like parents, should model God to these young ones., and make sure they stay in safe perameters.

The students earn a “star” for good behavior. They are recognized by the course as a good Christian and individual.
