I was the pastor of a small church. We stopped meeting for a couple of months, but then resumed. We all missed the personal interaction when we were shut down.

No. I actually prayed more and went to church more even if it was remotely.

Yes, attending church and connecting with family. It was hard, but I’ve returned to church and connect with family!

I did not. If anything, the extra time on my hands from being at home gave me additional time for spiritual disciplines. Even with churches largely being closed, our family was able to keep up with weekly virtual gatherings by our church’s livestream. I think the most important thing is to make an appointment for these important items – and keep it. When you have a dedicated time of day to read and pray, it becomes easier to schedule everything else around that.

No, I did not give up any spiritual disciplines during the pandemic. In fact, the events of the pandemic proved to be inspirational catalysts to become more disciplined in my relationship, spending more time with God in prayer, and reading His Word.
