Social support system were not entirely lost. However, the quality of interactions changed by doing everything online or by phone. The frequency of contacts was, on the other hand, easier to increase because the amount of travel required to stay.in touch reduced

Lost getting together in church and prayer meetings in person but I had opportunity to watch the service online . The prayer group started prayer through zoom. My family started a prayer group through a prayer line and still goes on. Covid bought the best out of me, had more time to pray for others and to meditate on His words and it still goes on.

We did lose relationships some through death and some through disagreements over what was going on. The loss of a relationship from disagreement was not our choice which makes it worse. There is no fixing the situation with one individual as we don’t really know what is wrong and nothing you do is right. We do have a broader support system now as we have made an effort to cultivate these relationships.
