Discuss a teacher who had a positive influence on your life. What did he/she do that was influential for you?

I did not have one. I was the shy student that did not talk much.

My high school english teacher had an influence on me. He was very unorthodox in his approach, but he invested his time and energy in making us learn and to understand why we were doing what we were doing. He pushed us beyond our limits which made us want to try in order to do well in that course.

Mr. Kormrin he was my handwriting teacher. He would yell and hit the table with a ruler if we had our elbow on the table as we wrote. Lot of students quit his course. But at the end of the semester. We all found out what a nice guy he really was. He told us he was proud of us that we didn’t give up. I was really glad I didn’t give up. I get a lot of good remarks on my handwriting.

My 4th grade teacher allowed me to go beyond the scheduled lessons and dig deeper in some science activities. It caused her extra work,but she did it anyway. It changed the way I thought about school.

Margarita, she told me I could write and always encourage me to write better papers.
I ended up studying communication because of that strength.
