I am glad God did not grant my silly prayers. He saved me from a lot of hardship in life.

This statement makes me so grateful. I’ve prayed some crazy prayers that would of either hurt me later, or hinder me in some kind of way. But God the thing about our God is that he knows every intention, every thought, and every outcome.

This statement is very convicting because it reveals just how much we live life forward but understand it backwards; however, God knows the beginning and the ending. Several times throughout my life, I’ve looked back and realized that if God had granted me with the “things” I’d asked for, it would have been disasterous.

God is omniscient. He knows what is best for me. sometimes, even though my prayers are self centered, they are not for my best interest, and God by is love protects me.

God knows the ultimate path for my life. I do not and see it with a limited lens. Unanswered prayer is hard. It is painful and cuts deeply. It should not be trivialized.
