When I think of “silly” prayers I think maybe it’s stuff we may have prayed for that would have no benefit to our spiritual journey or things we really shouldn’t pray for because we are being self centered or greedy.

We can often be selfish with our prayers. We also don’t always see the next steps, so God gives the better answer!

I would be in a marriage that would not have worked. God knows what we need more than we know ourselves.

A man may look righteous before his eyes but yet leading to destruction. God is able to see the blind spots in our lives. If God grants every prayer, it will lead to our destruction

I am so glad that God does have the panoramic view of my life and he didn’t allow me to receive everything I requested. Because if He had, I probably be a self-center, egotistical type of person.
