We may not see our answers to prayer in our time but if they are lined with the will of God, it will be done on God’s time.

This statement makes feel like God can only do these 3 options when he can do all things. He can answer prayers with all 3. He is not restricted.

These statements are underwhelming, as they do not address the great need we feel at times for God to move on our behalf. It is one of the worst things another believer has said to me when I needed comfort during a time of great sorrow.

Sometimes there is more than the response we need for our prayer. We just don’t know what God is doing in our lives or for His purpose. Therefore, we have to persevere in prayer, and faith.

There is not cut and dry response to the answer to prayer. Sometimes it is the perseverance or the obedience that is the needed thing in prayer. We have to trust God with the outcome, even if it is not as we have prayed.
