I think that God does always answers prayers when we ask with the right motives, like praying with faith, trust and belief. I still don’t expect all of my prayers to be answered as I expected it to because what I might be praying for might not be what God’s Will for me. God knows what we have need off before we asked him and he is more than capable of supplying all my needs, I just have to ask.

We do not know what God is doing in the background concerning our prayers. Sometimes what we are praying isn’t in God’s will for us.

When we send up a prayer request, we know that God hears. We don’t know what God is doing behind the scenes, but what we do know is that God loves us and wants only the best for us. He is going to answer our prayer with His great wisdom and in His perfect timing.

Some people say that there is no such thing as unanswered prayer. God always answers the prayer ‘yes, no, or wait,”. But in reality, it is not as simple as that. Sometimes, God may say “yes” to our prayer subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions or a “no” to part of our requests and wants us to wait further. For some of us, we don’t know whether God would answer our prayers or not, especially when we have been praying for a long time. What we need to do under such circumstances is to keep praying with faith and trust.

As a college professor, I give partial credit on my exams. Sometimes a student has part of the answer right, but the other part is just not what it should be. God is like that with our prayers, I think. There may be parts of a prayer that are ready to be answered, while other parts just aren’t right. Or, He may send us back with a “Try again”, encouraging us to keep praying without giving up after a few sessions.
