Sometimes he is answering yes to a portion of our prayers or is asking us to be active in perseverance. The above statement has passive responses. Sometimes he wants us to exercise our faith, persevere and take action.

It is always for our good. God’s not answering can also be a spiritual exercise… Or He wants us to be more humble in our prayers, sometimes we pray in a commanding way instead of trusting.

That is too black and white, but the answer can be very gray.

I personally do not feel this way. There can be a number of reasons for unanswered pray, our current faith and belief in God, what we ask for is not what we really need, and God knows this or what is being asking has not come to pass. God will answer all prayers when the believer is in the right frame of mind, willing to submit and moreover, willing to wait on God, which could be a long time. I feel this is a way of testing us for faith and endurance. (long suffering).

Yes, no or wait is too incomplete. God could answer parts yes, parts no and parts wait. We can’t put him in a box of our understanding. We have to humble ourselves and submit ourselves to him and believe He knows what’s best.
