Could I accept the reasons from God if I knew them. Can I walk by faith and not by sight? Seeing Jesus surround us with peace. He is faithful to get us through moments we don’t understand. He meets us where we are at and walks with us.

Unanswered prayer is often devastating! The statement above seems to overlook the anguish of living in constant ambiguity, the agony in reckoning with how to walk through the dark moments without a response from God.
In truth, we do not know what God is doing; He owes us no explanation. Yet, we must persevere in faith, trusting that our wise and loving Father has our best interest in mind. As one theologian advised, we must ask ourselves three questions:
1. Does God love me?
2. Has He demonstrated that love?
3. Has He ever lied to me?“Never doubt in the dark what He has taught you in the light.” ~ Steve Brown, LittD

Because God is able to see things we can’t. He knows the future. He knows the hearts and circumstances of each individual involved in the issue at hand.
