Yes, I think God has placed eternity in the hearts of all mankind. Being made in His image, sin has distorted and seperated God’s good order. When we become a new creation in Christ, God redeems and restores it! And He will create the new heaven and earth where sin will no longer have a place!

Yes, I think fragments of truth do exist in other world views.

Yes, I do agree with C S Lewis that other world views share some biblical values. For example, Life without God has no objective meaning (Eccl. 1:1-4) – Existentialism, God is the creator of the universe (Gen1:1)-Deism, Spiritual realities can be experienced (John 4:24)- Pantheism. In the end, the different worldviews are somewhat related. It is not surprising since all human being ( and their opinions) are somewhat related, a biblical truth. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve.

Yes. It is very interesting. I think even in many church groups, we can get stuck on one verse. I also think we often can skip verses that don’t work out as well for us. This is a great illustration to remind us of the importance of holding the Bible as God’s truth, not just the parts that are easy and work best for us.
