Yes, but those elements of truth from Scripture are taken out of context and/or twisted into something totally different than what the Bible as a whole teaches us about our world.

Throughout history people have routinely taken part of scripture, removed it from the surrounding context, and made it say something to support a different stance or point of view. The deception that takes place essentially creates a worldview that contains elements of truth, but it is a weak, partial truth at best.

Yes. Scripture is truth and parts of truth can be found all over. However, when taken out of context and an absence of God, the truth can be twisted and misinterpreted.

Yes! I see where pulling from one or a couple scriptures can be taken as a part of the whole to create their views. It’s like the Blind men and the elephant though, they confused their partial perception with the whole of reality. They take apart of Gods objective truth and make it into a whole.

Yes, it’s very easy to see that if you pull out just that one piece of scripture, that you can see one piece of another worldview. However, we need to put them all together so that we can make sense of everything and see the entire picture as intended by our Creator, God.
