Yes, as Christians we are called to live a life for Christ apart from the world. It is not our calling to perpetrate violence or act in that manner. We should love and serve our neighbors and demonstrate a posture of understanding. We don’t condone these things, but we do help educate and love others through it.

I do agree. When Jesus himself was faced with the injustice of death on the cross, he responded with resignation and acceptance. His quiet testimony sowed his devotion to God’s will.

I agree with Dr. Blomberg that followers of Christ should stand up for injustice but not with violence. Scriptures are clear that we are love, pray for our enemies. We are to be Holy or different and by not reacting in a way that we justify through our flesh, this is not showing the Kingdom of God.

I agree with Dr. Blomberg that as born-again Christians it is wrong to use violence to resist the injustice of the world. We cannot demonstrate Christ’s love to others as we are called to do with violence. We should stand up against injustice, but not with violence.

I do, God has explained to us through His word, that we are called to endure persecution. We are to cling to Him through trials.
