I do believe that they did. Because if I believe in him and salvation, then I cannot refute the works. But more than that, how often do to we hear reports of things that happened where someone lived when they should have died, something worked that should not have, or we prayed a prayer of desperation and the problem we could not solve just was all of sudden taken care of. That is Jesus and his miracles at work still.

Yes, without the miracles I would a more difficult time believing in God.

Without a doubt. The first recording of the miracles was close enough to the time that they occurred that many people would still have been alive that witnessed them. If they had not happened, those people would have ridiculed and denied the stories, and we never would have them to read.
