I study pastoral care and am learning how to care for people experiencing loss and grief. I have learned a lot about dealing with people in such need. As I grow in the field of Pastoral Care, I hope to be more empathetic to such situations and support not only the patient, but also their family.

I never feel that I am equipped but I trust God for his guidance. Also, I keep a good team around me. I will continue to grow as a person and look for training to help others. Most of all, I must give my best effort and remain available to others.

No, I don’t think I’m well-equipped to help someone with a crisis due to my limited experience and confidence in handling crises. Therefore, to effectively minister to people in times of crisis, I need proven techniques or methods to guide us and support from a team of experienced professionals handling crises. We can never do it alone and need help and a team to manage the crisis.

Not yet, because I need more tools and more communion with God.
