I do feel it is important. We all wonder about God and what He’s doing. Most things prophesied are blessings to come and it’s important to have faith in all of it.

Anyone can write a story. However someone who predicts the future, and the events occur gains tremendous credibility.

Yes I do think I it’s important that the Bible contains prophecy statements because it shows that what we are reading is true from beginning to end and that there is proof as well.
