I do think the prophetic statements are important. God is proving who He is through those who could hear him and the Bible has given us timelines which to build on seeing or believing.

I feel it is important to us that the Bible contains prophetic statements because it shows the Bible is a unique book that stands apart from all other books. It shows that the Bible was written by people who were influenced by the Holy Spirit. It shows how the Bible foretells the future and proves that God exists outside of the existence of time itself. Most importantly it shows that God knows all things from beginning to the end.

Yes it is so urgent to secure the proof of evidence of prophetic statement because it will defend our faith and our authenticity of walking with Christ.
