Yes it is important to me, and should be to all Christians who may be called upon “to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
1 Peter 3:15.Added to the Textual Transmission of the Bible, and Archaeological Support for the Bible, we now have “Prophetic Fulfillment in the Bible”.
This is important – another proof of the accuracy of the Bible. To be able to calculate the dates so precisely is very strong proof indeed of the accuracy of the Bible – especially when
those dates and events match. -
God puts prophetic statements in the prophets mouths I don’t think they are important in the context of Bible statements but can be looked upon as food for thought.

Prophetic statements in the Bible are important. We can look back to see how they were fulfilled over time to reveal the reliability of scripture. We can also be aware of what is yet to come and use that as a means of anticipation for what God has yet to do!

I do feel that it is important that the Bible contain prophetic statements. The prophetic statements contained within the Bible may be especially beneficial for non-believers who are seeking truth.
