Yes!!! I do feel it is important that the Bible contains prophetic statements.
Why? Because the prophecy fulfills the scripture. Prophecy should cause us to take God more seriously as well as our relationship with Him. The prophecy in the Old Testament fulfills what happened in the New Testament. So it helps us to believe in the Bible more.

Yes, I feel it is important that the Bible contains prophetic statements because this is one of the barriers between God and His creation, between the divine Being and the human being(s), knowledge of the future. God’s ability to tell us what has not yet come to pass is a hallmark of his divinity or quality or state of being God or divine in nature in contrast to humanity or the quality of state of being God’s creature or human in nature.
