Yes, I think it is a crucial part of the evidence that the Bible is Truth, and the Bible is accurate when compared to other non-bibilical records throughout history.

Because the Bible is a living document not just a book, I think it’s very important that it contains prophetic statements. It helps to show why it’s the living word of God.

I believe that God’s prophetic statements give deeper wisdom and insight to God’s Plan for the redemption of mankind and the reinforcing hope to His people that He has a plan already victorious being fulfilled accordingly and continuing to be fulfilled and thus will be fulfilled fully confident of our restoration and illustrative of God’s Holy Character.

I do feel it is important that the Bible contains prophetic statements because when these prophetic statements are fulfilled it provides further evidence that the Bible is God inspired. Furthermore, it demonstrates that God exists outside of or beyond time.

Yes, I do see the need for prophetic statements. These statements help to build a foundation for Christianity and the principles they stand for. I believe the verses in Matt 7:24-29 can give strong evidence of understanding the prophecies, parables and the teaching of God.
