Redemption in our worldview is key because it is the reason Christ came to dwell among us. If we don’t have redemption, then there was no reason for Christ to die on the cross for our sins.

It is important to understand a biblical worldview of redemption. It helps us remember that all of our students will make mistakes. Not a single student can be perfect and we have to show them it’s okay. We should show them with love, guidance, and bringing them back to the Word.

Yes, I understand the biblical world view of redemption. We, as teachers, need to be teachers of redemption. We represent how the students see God. We need to loving bring them back when they fall. They need to know that they are loved no matter what.

I think I am in the process, not fully there yet. As I said in an earlier response, I believe that children are inherently good but fallen creations living in a fallen world. My entire classroom behavior management policies, teaching, assessment, and interaction are centered on this singular truth!

As a 2nd-grade teacher, I strive to understand a biblical worldview of redemption. I recognize that sharing God’s love and redemption with my students is essential. Understanding redemption from a biblical perspective helps me effectively point my students to Jesus and provides a framework for teaching character, morality, and values. By grasping this concept, I can intentionally weave redemption themes throughout our lessons and conversations.
