In the sense of know the story, I do. We will never understand how much God loves us in redemption.
It is important to me because I know it has the power to change lives.

Yes, I feel I have a grasp on redemption. I believe it is important to treat others as Jesus has done for me. I am a sinner in need of grace and when others are viewed through this lens it is a good starting point in how I interact with them.

Redemption is so important for a biblical curriculum because it is a vital part of the biblical storyline.

Yes, because so much of our society has a worldview based on good works, Christians need to understand the Biblical worldview of redemption. God made us in His image, but the Fall caused man to be born with a sin nature. Man needs to have access to God. Jesus Christ came and died on the cross to save sinners and bring us back into fellowship with God.

Yes, only a redeemed person can understand the great sacrifice of Christ for us so that we can be forgiven. We should teach this in our classrooms every day and base our lessons on this doctrine.
