Deleted User08/06/2024 at 17:58Perhaps the old Sunday School song teaches it best. He paid a debt he did not owe I owed debt. I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away but now I sing a brand new song amazing Grace Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay.
I have the privilege of teaching Old Testament survey to ninth graders and Bible doctrine to 10th graders, and I promise you that little Sunday school song is full of sound theology.

Deleted User08/03/2024 at 13:27I believe that Christ died for my sins. Because of His sacrifice, I must constantly seek ways to overcome humans’ innate sinful nature by strengthening my relationship with God and his teachings.

Deleted User07/29/2024 at 22:28I now have a much better understanding of its value and need to be threaded throughout the course of the academic year – especially the Biblical clarification of the whole experience as recorded in Hebrews (chapter 9 specifically). By sharing this account throughout the year, the students become rooted in the Lord and the tenets of the faith, empowering them to grow and develop strong as opposed to being tossed to and fro by popular opinions, divisive arguments and contrary doctrines of faith.

Deleted User07/17/2024 at 14:03The price of my sin has been paid by the blood of Christ. I have been redeemed. This is important so that I understand that it is nothing I have done, it’s everything Christ has done. I am chosen, and so are my students.
