Absolutely. Proverbs 22:6 states: “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.” Children are a gift, and a responsibility. As adults, we should be training the children in our lives with the knowledge and understanding of the Lord. The foundation of this knowledge is God’s word. “I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.”

Absolutely, having a strong foundation from a young age is a great way to raise up a child. It is easier to learn good habits than break bad ones.

Absolutely! It is the truth, testing to the Truth–Jesus Christ–in whom all things without exception cohere. Right belief, thinking, and living are rooted in rightly dividing God’s Word and a lifestyle of meditation. True success for my students is based on their ability to stay rooted in the truth and authority of God’s Word.

Yes, it is extremely important for all people to know the scripture. Without the scripture and the knowledge of Christ we are doomed to suffering.

It is important for young children to know Scripture because it is easy for them to memorize it and it will stay with them for life.
