I believe it is of great importance for children to know God’s Word! I learned so much and those verses that I learned then are what have brought me back to the Lord and sustained me. It is those recollections that have guided me throughout the troubling times I have allowed myself to enter into. Knowing that God will never leave me nor forsake me was one of the most powerful and convicting pieces of knowledge that drew me back from the depths I had allowed myself into. It is important to have that immediate resource available when you are facing difficult situations. Even now, it will come back to me as I face something and that Word is relevant to the situation.

I think it is so important for young children to know Scripture! Those words hidden in their hearts the Holy Spirit can use to speak to them and guide them in their lives. God’s Word never returns void.

Yes. Just like us, they need to know scripture because life’s challenges are consistent. Knowing the scripture will help them to overcome every situation.

Yes, the Word of God expects us to train up a child in the way he should grow so that when he gets old he will not depart from it. Memorizing Scripture is one way children get to know Scripture, and they tend to remember it even when they get old.

We must plant the Word in Children’s hearts. Their hearts are fertile soil.
