Yes, of course. My own children have and are attending Christian schools. I love to hear them say their verses and sing their songs that contain Scripture. The Bible is living and breathing through the children that we teach Scripture to .

If a child begins to know scripture it can then shape their life. It is also easier to memorize when you are young.

Yes is is important for young children to know Scripture. I remember talking to my kids when they would have learned a new lesson at church and now they are in Christian schools and have such a great understanding of the Bible and we can have great discussions together. It really helps to reinforce the morals and ways of life that we have been teaching them.

Yes I do. I think children are trusting and can experience a relationship with God. When we teach them the Scriptures, they get a clear view of who God is and what He is concerned about. And, as Dr. Black pointed out, they can memorize more as children than adults, ‘hiding God’s Word in their hearts.”

Yes, it is very important. Many of the scriptures I have memorized I did so when I was a child. This is important because children are laying the foundation for the rest of their lives. It is best for them to do this correctly when they are young.
