When we stray from God, evil finds every hole in our hearts and tried to fill them with doubt. In recent events (i.e., New Orleans), human suffering has taken place and the hands of God’s children that have strayed. They have made choices that has caused insane suffering to the people who still remain here on earth.

When we are given the freedoms to choose, whether we choose good or evil, God allows us to make those choices, and with each of those choices comes a consequence. We have the ability to use common sense and the free will given to us by God, to decide if a negative or positive consequence is worth the choices we make. If we don’t have that choice, there is no risk of a negative consequence. This also takes away our responsibility for what we do in life.

We are a nation that takes pride in its freedom. We were originally founded by God centered principals, but as we have moved away from the Church to Secularism, so has our freedoms. The USA now takes pride in its sinful and Godless freedoms.

Freedom to choose has given us the freedom to respond to a matter in the manner we see fit in the heat of the moment. I have seen in my life time tragic consequences due to man responding to matters that resulted in death.

When we are given the freedoms to choose, we are given the opportunity to make a right choice or a wrong choice. Either choice will have a consequence attached to it. Being made in the image of God gives us the ability to use common sense and will to decide if the risk of a bad consequence is worth the fun or enjoyment of a certain choice. The ability to weigh the decision is where exercising responsibility comes into play. If we were not given the choice, then typically, there is not a risk of consequence to follow, removing responsibility. Speed limits on roads and speed limits in vehicles allow us the choice to go the posted speed limit, or to go the speed limit of our vehicle. It’s our choice, and then our consequence that is our responsibility to make and fulfill.
