I asked Jesus to be my savoir and Lord on May 15, 1986. While attending high school at Thomas Jefferson High School, my younger sisters received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I witness a drastic change in their character. They were kind, loving, and peaceful human beings. After watching and observing their spiritual change, I thought about asking Jesus into my heart.
A few months later, I was on my way to college. While attending college, I met a few students who had Christ-like personality that resembled my sisters behavior, attitude and character. I invited myself into their company a few times during breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the cafeteria.
During our yearly college Christmas break, I attended a Christian concert at the Mosque Theatre in Richmond, Va. This concert changed my life. At the end of the concert, their was an alter call for salvation. I confessed the sinners prayer and gave my life to Jesus that very night. I was saved from my sins because I had asked Jesus to be my Savior and Lord.
