Knowing this will prevent me from relying on myself and what I can make happen. It will prevent me from trying to fix the problem, but instead be there to offer the recipient a relationship with Jesus that will fill the hunger and satisfy the soul.

It could take me out of a place where I am relying on my own power and intelligence versus relying on God. My thought process could then change from how can I help to, maybe, how can I reflect God? How can I be used by Holy Spirit to reflect Christ to increase their desire for him? Maybe even get to a place where I take me all the way out of the equation and focus solely on the person and their relationship with God.

I would walk into the conversation with a spirit and focus of total dependence on God, a worshipful perspective on Christ

Point them to the only on that can truly help them all the while showing how interested i am in who they are

When I struggle for answers I often turn to my Sister we grew up in a foster-care home together , but when we have troubles we both turn to Christ for our own issues
