The pressure is off as I become God-reliant.
There is comfort knowing the Holy Spirit is in control as He is the greatest counsellor.
God is the good Father and the person whom am providing soul care to, is in excellent hands once he/she taps into God’s presence, love & care.
Through Jesus, I can be a bridge for person to develop an appetite for God. In this way, I know my place.
I plant a seed & offer a direction. Then God takes over to uproot, cleanse, plant & nurture the person. -
Knowing that I am out of my league will change my approach to SoulCare by forcing me to focus on increasing the receiver’s appetite for God.

I (we) quite simply, cannot fix the person, the problem, the issue, or even myself. In me, myself I do not have what is needed. Only God has and can fix us, is creation. Therefore, I will not engage with another with the initial thought or goal to fix them, nor will I expect this for myself from them.

Dr Crabb’s vision enables me to stop panicking when a person shares a situation beyond my understanding/experience/preferences for humanity.
I do believe a relationship with God is to access health for eternity. -
It will make me more reliant on Jesus Christ, His Word and the power of prayer.
