Listening an depending on Him brings a peace that helps resist the desire to fix, and an awareness of what The Spirit may be calling the other person to “the crack in the soul” we are listening for……

This will be hard to execute. I am so use to providing biblical solutions to the problems we face, believing the scriptures provide the relief they were looking for. But now, I realize it’s not the external fix, but an internal work necessary to affect the external, a closer walk with Jesus.

I will know I’m out of my league whenever I try to do anything in my own strength or lean on my own understanding. In order help anyone I will need to lean on God’s strength and His wisdom, and speak the truth in love know that I cannot do anything apart from Him.

I will be totally dependent on the Holy Spirit, being prayerful & watchful & focused on what He wants to do in His timing. I will feel the freedom and ease of depending on Him rather than my Self.

If I approach SoulCare understanding that it is not ME having to solve anything, but a willingness to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me, that makes such a difference! I am not responsible for changing someone else – nor can I! It is only through the Holy Spirit giving me the words to say that will reach into that other individual’s heart and soul to be changed from the inside out by the Lord Himself.
