I agree with the statement. When I pray or lament I go to God and it is the pathway to intimacy with God because I express my heart and he wants us to pour our hearts out to him. When we share our heart and soul with someone we love, it causes intimacy.

I do agree that lament is a proof of my relationship with God, and it’s a pathway to get closer to Him. I have always been the anchor for my daughter, sibling and at work that my staff will look up to and for help with their issues.

My false sense of having to be strong have at times trapped me, where and whom I can turn to have my needs satisfy. I do cry to God during my prayers and at night. I have to lean on Him to gain courage to move on, knowing that I may be alone but never lonely when God walks with me.
