Well, I do not lament much. Sometimes when I am extremely happy, I will send God a joyful praise but when I am sad, I will just cry human tears. For some it may be a way of connecting with God and showing Him that you do trust in Him and believe His every word. I also pray on bending knees when I am sad this is when I assure God of my faith in Him and my love for Him.

I agree that lament is a pathway to intimacy with God because it draws us closer to God.

I agree because God wants to hear from His children. It strengthens our relationship with God and we must remember we can tell God everything/anything that is on our hearts and minds. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Agree. If we allow the process and cry out to God we will feel Him ever present .

Believing in God’s conviction that not only does He care about us, He also has the power to do something about our situation. I trust He is good and faithful He won’t give me more than I can handle. Especially when I give it to Him.
