I agree. When I lament, I express my true feeling to God. When He answers it draws me nearer to Him.

I agree with the statement. I demonstrates that you believe in God enough in order to lay bare your soul about what is bothering you and that the relationship is intimate enough for you to be able to bring to Him what you cannot bring to anyone else.

We agree because a communication with God is part of that relationship with the only power that can help us.

I agree because lament is literally opening up your heart to let God see and feel everything that you are feeling at that moment. There is no barrier between you and God at that point. So it is very intimate and yes, would be a pathway to greater intimacy with God.

I agree with the statement: I believe the quote by Dr. Welch means that when we share our sorrows and grief with God, we become vulnerable in his presence, releasing his power of comfort and strength upon us, increasing our faith and trust in GOD.
