His availability is for all people, and as we are in relation with Him by faith, our intimacy can draw us to a closer, more intimate relationship. This intimacy grows as we grow in trusting faith in our Saviour.

Why do you forget our affliction and oppression? For our soul is bowed down to the dust; our belly clings to the ground. Rise up; come to our help! Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love! (Ps. 44:23-26, ESV)
I hated God for my husband not being able to get out of bed. I screamed at Him. Asking Him why did He desert me. Asking Him if He even loved me anymore? But then I grieved and gave my life back to Him. Studying His Word. Praising His Name.

On the other hand, if I trust God and know that He is with me in challenges of life, I will continue to get to know Him better and I will feel confident to share my laments in times of grief.
