Bible study and prayer are ways of communication with the Lord and listening, whereas fellowship is walking with the Lord and others in faith and communication.

All these are things which bring us into the presence of the Lord as we grow to know Him more and more. Prayer is like a conversation, reading the bible is like listening to stories from a friend, and fellowship is like a child sitting on their fathers lap. This is also done in fellowship with other believers.

All of these practices and spiritual disciplines are ways that we can communicate with each other and with God. We listen to God through prayer and by reading the bible. We speak to God by praying on our own and with other believers. Finally, we communicate with each other through fellowship, bible studies and group prayer.

Bible study is building the foundation for what is correct theology and conduct for the believer, fellowship is the communication with other people that are part of the same journey that can help build and reinforce your faith, and prayer is the direct communication with God that cements faith.
