The three mentioned above are ways for us to have deeper intimacy with God. Bible study, whether by groups or individual quiet time, could be one of God’s mediums to speak to us. Prayer is our way to directly communicate with Him, and fellowship is such a horizontal communication and relationship to express our faith.

Bible study allows us to communicate, learn, and grow by studying the scriptures in a (usually) small group of believers. Fellowship is an opportunity to share and practice our Christian beliefs with our brothers and sisters – community level or worship. Prayer is a personal conversation with God.

I think that all three: Bible study, fellowship, and prayer are all important to further develop our walk with God. All these forms are different but all are needed because I believe God uses all three of these forms to draw us closer to him.

Bible study is learning about God , His Son Jesus , and the Holy Spirit. Fellowship is about communicating and supporting fellow believers and prayer is talking to God.

In each form of communication, you are in communion with God. The definition of communion is the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level.
