On all of these ways we are listening to God and hearing His Word.

All three are our life-line to finding out who God is, receiving his salvation through Jesus Christ and moving forward in our relationship with Him!!

God call’s us to fellowship with other believers. In doing this we benefit from other’s no matter where we are in our walk with Jesus. I use to fellowship at the local pubs years ago, now I fellowship with believers in Christ at bible study, and at Church. The difference is un-measurable. Praising the lord all day long.

Bible study, fellowship and prayer can be called different forms of communication because as we study the Bible we are letting the Holy Spirit open our heart to let God in so He can commune with us and speak to our hearts as our spirit listens. In fellowship, we gather to draw strength from one another interacting through sharing, communicating, serving one another. And prayer is our time when we come before God with our praises, thanksgivings, and petitions – as we speak to Him, He listens and after we speak we meditate and open our minds and our hearts to listen to what God says to us, and how He responds with His love to our praises, thanksgivings and needs we bring before Him. Prayer is a 2-way communication where we speak and God listens, then God speaks and we patiently wait and listen to what He says to us. If we do not do that, then in my view it is not true prayer because we have failed to give God time to speak and to take time to listen.

In Bible Study (reading) we are directing our attention to God and allowing Him to speak with us. Our response to His communication is through prayer, pouring out our hearts to Him. The same is true of Praise and worship with other believers. In fellowship, we share with other believers what we have learned through our reading and prayer, for mutual edification.
