Bible study, fellowship and prayer can be called different forms of Spiritual communication because they all three work together to form our spiritual foundation and relationship with God. Studying the word of God helps us to learn about God and He will reveal Himself to us through in His word as we study. The bible will actually “speak” to us through the Holy Spirit if we read it and meditate on it. Fellowshipping with others is another way of forming Spiritual communication because by interacting with other Spiritually like minded people-we are gaining strength, encouragement and knowledge. Finally, one of the greatest forms of Spiritual communication is prayer because we are communicating with our Heavenly Father and at times He is communicating with us through the Holy Spirit. Together, all 3 are vital but yet different Spirit communication forms or styles for our Spiritual lives and journey.

Through this lesson I have understood that the core belief of the Christian faith is the one God who has revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ and through the pages of the Bible, so to understand and relate this to our daily lives, the challenges of it then we must be studying the Bible specially in groups. Also, through fellowship, we understand the challenges we go through and how much God wants us to face them, also encouraging us that we are not alone. Concerning prayer, we get directed by the Holy Spirit towards our growth.

The Word points us in the right direction. Fellowship nourishes us spirit, soul, mind and body. Prayer is our counselling time with the Lord.

Bible study is growing and learning about God. Hearing what others bible study members views are on the section being studied. Learning from one another. Prayer is a way of communicating with God, learning to speak to God about the ups and downs we are experiencing. Prayer is also a way we can give thanks to our Heavenly Father for what he has given us. Fellowship is growing relationships with members of the church you belong too. Building a foundation within the church that we can learn, grow spiritually, and closer as a community (even within the walls of the church).

Explain how Bible study, fellowship, and prayer can be called different forms of spiritual communication.
Bible study, fellowship, and prayer are all forms of spiritual communication because each serve a distinct purpose but they all help with God’s original intended purpose: to be in communion with Him. Bible study unfolds the beautiful love story between God and His creation. It shows the believer how much God loves His creation and the lengths He went to show His love. It didn’t matter how many times the Israelites were unfaithful, chased after other gods, and disobeyed Him, his love for them was constant; consistent. He disciplined in love. That’s what parenting God’s way is. He never wavered about His intentions toward Israel or His love. He never stopped pursuing them. Then He came to Earth to extend His plan of salvation to humanity. It was always His intention from the beginning for man to live a Spirit filled life as sons of God. The Bible communicates all of that to us. We must read and study to gain wisdom and insight to the heart and mind of God. We fellowship because we are now apart of the Kingdom of God ; the royal family. Fellowship in Greek is koinōnia.
Pronunciation: koy-nohn-ee’-ah
It is a partnership; communication; communion. Fellowship requires a social exchange and vulnerability with the family of God. Holy Spirit partners with us to advance The Kingdom of God through His people. The disciples never went or worked alone and we shouldn’t either. You find strength when we walk together. Prayer is our personal mode of communication to and with God. Madame Jeanne Guyon defines prayer as turning our hearts toward God and receiving His love in return. It is God’s desire to communicate Himself to us, impart abundant grace, and to allow us to enjoy His presence. When we remove earthly distractions, become intentional to get in His presence and be fully aware of His presence, feed on His Word, and believe it, you can communicate with God without interruption.
